Hillary Chaffin is a business litigator whose practice includes business litigation and investigations, insurance defense, real estate matters, and employment litigation and investigations.
Prior to law school, Hillary was a litigation paralegal for three years at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, P.C. As a paralegal, she gained valuable experience supporting attorneys at trials in Federal Court, International Trade Commission Court, and at arbitration hearings.
Hillary received her Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego School of Law. While in law school, Hillary served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Barbara Parker Hervey at the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. She was also a legal intern with the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office in both the Family Protection Division and on the Motions Team. Hillary was a member of the San Diego Journal of Climate and Energy Law and was on the mock trial team. After taking the California Bar Exam, she completed a Post-Bar Law Clerkship with the Employment and Administrative Mandate Section of the California Office of the Attorney General.
In her spare time, Hillary enjoys gardening, baking, and spending time at the beach.
